Cat in the Hat, Hop on Pop, One Fish Two Grinch Who Stole Christmas and Horton Hears A Who; We've read these books, page by dog-eared page, Now these fantastical characters take our stage! Ahrens and Flaherty made a musical that's joyful to hear, Lovingly based on Seuss (who's over 100 this year). You say sing-song lyrics are only for kids? Pshaw! These message-filled musings fill grown-ups too with awe.

Just imagine a world where anything's possible! An elephant in a tree, a person too tiny to see, a heroic child and dreams running wild! Come to a magical musical place where helping a friend, never giving up and keeping a promise come alive in a witty, wild and wonderful tale that will delight the young and young at heart!

Beloved Seuss stories and themes are woven together in this colorful musical that follows the adventures of the Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz and a gaggle of delightful Seuss characters who try to restore harmony to the Jungle of Nool. The Tony Award-winning team of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty ( Ragtime and Once On This Island ) give a Seussian spin to the score which cleverly combines a gumbo of musical styles--from Latin to pop; swing to gospel; and R&B to funk! So let your toes tap, your fingers snap, and you're imagination run wild for "Oh, the thinks you can think, when you think about Seuss!"
